Behandelt werden auch chemische und energetische Verwertungsmglichkeiten sowie bergreifende Aspekte der kobilanzierung und der internationalen Mrkte. Holz als Roh- und Werkstoff mchte den internationalen wissenschaftlichen Erfahrungsaustausch und den Technologietransfer von der Forschung in die Praxis frdern. The journal Holz als Roh- und Werkstoff reports on results from research and development for wood and wood products and their biological chemical physical as well as mechanical and technological properties processing and uses. Subjects range from roundwood to wood based products composite materials and timber constructions with related jointing techniques. Moreover it deals with wood as a chemical raw material and source of energy as well as with inter-disciplinary aspects of life-cycle-assessment and international markets.
