The journal covers the entire field of research and practice in visual rehabilitation assessment in, and rehabilitation of, children, multiple handicaps, cognitive impairments; educational programs for rehabilitation workers; standardized protocols. Within these parameters rehabilitation of impairments of visual sensory and oculomotor functions, as well as impairments of the central visual system are included. The central vision system is usually not considered as falling within the domain of low vision, but as impairments can also result in marked visual disabilities, the journal will publish research carried out in the field of visual impairment.
