The Rocky Mountain Review of Language and Literature (print) and its sister publication, The Rocky Mountain E-Review (Web-based), are the official refereed journals of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association. Both journals publish scholarly works of the following types: articles of relevance to those involved in the study and teaching of languages, literature, film, culture, writing, second language acquisition, and educational technology, among other areas; commentaries dealing with issues of importance to the profession (these are considered for publication in the Forum section of the journal); traditional book reviews, as well as reviews of WWW sites, educational software products, and development applications for educational use. The print version appears semi-annually (normally April and November) and is mailed to all current members of the RMMLA. Articles published in the print version of the journal must be written in English. The electronic version is asynchronous, with articles appearing as soon as they pass through the final editing process, regardless of the print schedule. The Rocky Mountain E-Review contains all of the articles and reviews that appear in the print version, plus: articles written in languages other than English; and articles that incorporate multimedia components (graphics, audio and video clips, etc. ).
