All are devoted to a single area of topical scientific research and all papers are fully peer-reviewed. The journal incorporates all areas of the biological sciences with particular emphasis on neuroscience and cognition, organismal, environmental and evolutionary biology, molecular, cellular and developmental biology and health and disease.
