Applied Geography is a journal devoted to the publication of research which uses geographical theory and methodology to resolve those human problems that have a geographical dimension. These problems may be related to the assessment, management and allocation of the worlds physical and/or human resources. The underlying rationale of the journal, however, is that only through a clear understanding of the relevant physical, behavioural and information systems can we resolve such problems. The journal will be of interest to human and physical geographers, as well as agricultural scientists, ecologists, planners and politicians.
