Description:
The relationship and mutual effects on each other of accounting and public policy is an increasingly important area of research. Journal of Accounting and Public Policy serves researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners in both disciplines by publishing research results and serving as a forum for the exchange of ideas. Preference is given to papers that illuminate, through theoretical or empirical analysis, the effects of accounting on public policy and vice-versa. Also encouraged are creative, interdisciplinary review papers that advance the understanding of the fields and their impact on each other. Subjects treated in this Journal include accounting as it interfaces with economics, public administration, political science, social psychology, sociology, policy science, and law.
